ST LOUIS, MO – Wiegmann Associates has completed HVAC work for the new 48,000-square-foot Skin Specialty Solutions Inc. facility located at Fenton Logistics Park. Wiegmann served as the Engineer of Record (EOR) and installing mechanical contractor. The general contractor was Kadean Construction and the architect was M+H Architects.
Wiegmann’s HVAC solution was designed to meet the unique temperature and humidity requirements of the specialized facility, including a mixing room that requires 18 air changes of outside air and a negative pressure relationship with the surrounding areas. Wiegmann installed a dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS), as well as an exhaust fan with pre-filters and HEPA filtration for air purity.
Wiegmann also is the mechanical contractor for the new Hubbell Incorporated facility at Fenton Logistics Park, which is located on the site of the former Chrysler assembly plant site. Once complete, the business park will include 2.5 million square feet of development.
Skin Specialty Solutions is a web-based, customized skincare company. Their new facility is expected to create 100 new jobs.
