ST. LOUIS, MO – McGrath & Associates has begun construction on a $340,000 expansion of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri headquarters at 2306 Ball Drive in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The new Berges Family Girl Scouts Program Center will house programs focused on STEM careers, health and money management. Construction is scheduled for completion in December 2015. Oculus Inc. is the architect. Landmark Contract Management is the owner’s representative.
The 6,400-square-foot one-story facility is being constructed in an existing space adjacent to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri headquarters. The new program center will engage girls in science and engineering through a lab, learning kitchen and program studio. Design features include suspended lighting, acoustical ceiling “clouds” and a glass feature wall.
