| Licensed casinos in Missouri employed 10,016 people who got more than $328 million last year in wages, benefits and tips, an industry group says.
The American Gaming Association said today that Missouri ranks seventh nationwide in casino employment. The state has 13 licensed casinos, including four in the Missouri portion of metro St. Louis. In 2013, Missouri casinos produced more than $452 million in tax revenue that supported education programs, public safety, services for veterans and early childhood programs, the AGA said. |
