McGrath & Associates has completed construction of the Wound Care Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. The architect was Bates & Associates.
The 3,900-square-foot Wound Care Center features two hyperbaric chambers for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), a reception area and a waiting room with exterior views for patients and family members. A four-room exam suite accessible from the waiting room is positioned around a central nurse station. The center also includes a director’s office for a physician and head nurse. The construction project included complete demolition of an existing office space just inside the hospital’s original main entrance, which was relocated to a new building in 2012. Because McGrath was working in an occupied health care area, they implemented strict isolation and infection prevention measures to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. |
