ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Celebrity sightings will be abundant at Plaza Frontenac on Thursday, August 16, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. when the popular Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s “Celebrity Waitresses’ & Waiters’ Night” takes over all four restaurants at the mall.
More than 100 national and local St. Louis media, sports, business and political celebrities will donate the generous tips they earn from diners to support Crisis Nursery’s 24/7 safe haven nurseries and child abuse prevention programs. The 22nd annual event includes dining and parties at four Plaza Frontenac restaurants – Brio’s Tuscan Grille, Cardwell’s at the Plaza, Canyon Café and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse. The event typically sells out so dinner reservations are required. Brio’s Tuscan Grille will host a happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and an after-party from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Call (314) 432-4410 for dinner reservations; no reservations needed for the happy hour and after party. Cardwell’s at the Plaza will offer two dinner seatings, at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Call (314) 997-8885 for reservations. Canyon Café will serve dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Call (314) 872-3443. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse will serve dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Call (314) 567-7610. The celebrities encourage generous, tax-deductible tips since only the tips, not the meal purchase, benefit Crisis Nursery. There is no entry fee or minimum purchase.
