| ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Saint Louis Crisis Nursery named Colonel Daniel Isom, St. Louis Chief of Police, as the 2012 “Children’s Champion” at their 26th annual Razzle Dazzle Ball in March. Colonel Isom has been a member of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery Advisory Board since 2009 and is a dedicated advocate for disadvantaged children.
Colonel Isom is the 33rd City of St. Louis Chief of Police, appointed in 2008, 20 years after he first joined the Department. He works to elevate the standards of law enforcement professionalism and strengthen the relationship between the police and citizens. “Colonel Isom provides ongoing and unconditional support to help us serve thousands of children in the community every year,” said DiAnne Mueller, CEO of Saint Louis Crisis Nursery. “We are truly fortunate to have Colonel Isom serve in a leadership position and offer his guidance, wisdom and expertise.” Ninety-nine percent of the children served by Crisis Nursery are returned home and are not abused or neglected.
