Fox Architects’ office space features an open layout on the 18th floor of the Gateway Tower downtown. With a 360-degree view of downtown St. Louis that includes the Arch and surrounding structures, it’s hard for the designers at Fox Architects to not be inspired. According to Fox Partner Bob Dunn, the company moved to the 18th floor of the Gateway Tower at 1 Memorial Drive in February 2013 to create an energy of collaboration. “The space has been designed to maximize collaboration and leverage the creative power of people working together,” he said. “The studio includes informal meeting and critique areas adjacent to individual work settings.” Inside the office, you’ll find conference rooms that are designed to balance openness and privacy, while incorporating the latest technology. The office also keeps the environment in mind, as it is rated LEED-Silver. Dunn, who was the principal in charge of Reinsurance Group of America’s new headquarters in Chesterfield, said the view of downtown St. Louis serves as a perfect backdrop for the company. “What’s really cool about our office is the openness and view. But what’s most important about our office is the people and the connection we have with each other,” he said. In addition to the RGA job, Fox also has completed work for CenturyLink, Emerson and the Saint Louis Zoo.
