 Gitana Productions, an organization dedicated to intercultural understanding through the arts, presents the premiere of its new production, a drama exploring relationships between African-Americans and the police. Inspired by the shooting of Michael Brown and subsequent events in Ferguson, “Black and Blue” is written by Lee Patton Chiles with music by TBeats entertainment.
After the play opens at the museum, more performances are scheduled elsewhere.

The run at the Kranzberg Arts Center is sold out, but seats are available for performances at Greater St. Mark Family Church on June 7 and at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park on June 19-21. By Judith Newmark
