Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Ferguson-based Emerson, hired St. Louis-based Fox Architects to design a $20 million Emerson Climate Technologies Innovation Center at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
This research and training facility, for which ground will be broken in October, is the fifth advanced-technology center that Fox Architects has designed for Emerson. Building built through a partnership between Emerson Climate Technologies and the University of Dayton, the 40,000-square-foot innovation center will help drive the future of the global heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. Construction of the facility is expected to be complete in late 2015. The innovation center will bring together researchers, Emerson product developers, industry partners, customers and students to participate in research and education.
