| The Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District (NEAFPD) in St. Louis County, Missouri, has contracted Kwame Building Group, Inc. as project manager on construction of a new $5.7 million firehouse at 7100 Natural Bridge Road, Beverly Hills, Missouri. The architecture firm selected to work with Kwame is JEMA.
The 27,500-square-foot, two-story brick and stone firehouse will include five vehicle bays and a two-story structure for the District headquarters office. The facility also will house training and community classroom space. Built to resist seismic and high-wind events, the facility will serve as a natural disaster relief center for residents of St. Louis County. Kwame is leading the project team along with NEAFPD Fire Chief Quinten Randolph and the NEAFPD Board of Directors.
