“We hope to see a bunch of area students and employees apply for this great scholarship opportunity,” said Michael Adams, Broadway Restaurant Group’s Vice President of Operations. “It is one of our core values to support each community surrounding our restaurants by hiring local residents, awarding scholarships through the Burger King Scholars program and participating in various community service events and initiatives.”
More information about the Burger King Scholars program and the application can be found at bk-scholars.com. Graduating high school seniors as well as Burger King employees and their family members who will attend an accredited two- or four-year accredited university, college or vocational-technical school are eligible to apply. Winners will be selected based on both academic record and community service experience. The deadline to apply is Dec. 15, 2019.
Between now and Nov. 30, guests are encouraged to donate to the Burger King Scholars program when they dine-in or drive-through order at any Burger King restaurant.
