| McGrath & Associates has been nominated for the 2016 General Contractor of the Year Award by the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Midwest Council. McGrath has received this nomination 18 times since the ASA introduced the award in 1994 and has won the award five times. The General Contractor of the Year Award will be announced at the ASA Midwest Council’s Annual Awards Gala on April 23, 2016.
ASA members nominate general contractors that meet or exceed several criteria including equitable contract provisions, safety policy and practices, jobsite supervision, scheduling coordination, payment practices and subcontractor relations. Companies with the most nominations are placed on a ballot for voting by ASA members. McGrath & Associates is a 100 percent employee-owned general contractor and construction management firm specializing in commercial, health care, industrial, institutional and pharmaceutical construction projects since 1983. McGrath was named 2014 “General Contractor of the Year” by the American Subcontractors Association Midwest Council, an award the company has received five times out of 18 nominations.
