St. Louis Metro Police Lt. Cheryl Orange is a member of the Ethical Society of Police, a police union founded by Black officers to fight racism and hold police accountable for misconduct. She tells Jonathan Capehart that speaking out against bad police behavior is important to rebuilding trust in the community because they “want us to be fair… once you do what’s right, that is what goes a long way.”
