Saint Louis Crisis Nursery will host its 22nd annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Norwood Hills Country Club. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with lunch at 11:00 a.m. and tee-time at 12-noon. The dinner auction will begin at 5 p.m.
The golf event features a four-person scramble, numerous contests and a dinner/awards banquet. The cost for individual players is $350 per person, which includes play, carts, putting greens, lunch, corporate treats, golf shirt, dinner and an open bar. Sponsorships begin at $2,000. Last year’s Charity Golf Classic raised more than $90,000 that went towards helping save the lives of more than 88,000 children and provided support to 100,000 families in crisis. DiAnne Mueller, Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s CEO, says the tournament’s proceeds will help to continue much needed services for many families who are faced with unexpected crisis, such as overwhelming parental stress, domestic violence, and a lack of food or utilities. “Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is happy to be here for families in need,” said Mueller. “All contributions received at the tournament helps us to provide quality care for vulnerable children, including food, diapers, medical care, clothing and therapeutic services when their parents are unable to.” The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is committed to preventing child abuse and neglect by offering real help and real hope to families in crisis.
