ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Ultimate Ninjas will celebrate the grand opening of its new Anaheim Hills gym with a free, public event on Saturday, March 11. The premier obstacle course racing facility brings the authentic ninja experience and training to Orange County. The new 10,000-square-foot Ultimate Ninjas gym at 5462 E La Palma Avenue offers programming for ages 3 through adults of all skill levels to train and play to build confidence and strength, inside and out. Seven Ultimate Ninjas students and staff are competing on this season of the show and hundreds have appeared in past seasons. The Anaheim Hills Ultimate Ninjas is the first location on the West Coast and the eighth gym nationally.
Grand opening festivities on Saturday, March 11 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are open to kids ages 3 to 17 and their parents. Kids will enjoy a free open gym to try iconic obstacles reminiscent of the hit television show, including the jumping spider, salmon ladder and a four-level warped wall. Guests will also have the opportunity to win free class and merchandise giveaways.
“Unlike other ninja gyms that solely focus on entertainment, Ultimate Ninjas is a place where kids and adults can train, have fun on obstacles, or choose to grow advanced ninja skills, improve health and learn valuable life lessons,” said top female American Ninja Warrior competitor Jesse Labreck. Labreck was the first woman to hit the buzzer on Stage 1 and is a five-time Vegas finalist. “Countless Ultimate Ninjas students and managers have gone on to compete on American Ninja Warrior and American Ninja Warrior Junior,” said fellow Ultimate Ninjas Franchise Group co-owner and American Ninja Warrior pro ninja, Mike Silenzi.
Ultimate Ninjas offers obstacle course training classes for toddlers and youth as well as birthday parties, adult fitness classes, summer and school break camps, open gym, corporate team building and special events. An “Elite Team” is offered for boys and girls who are dedicated to competing year-round. The Ultimate Ninjas Anaheim Hills location features the highest-quality, engineered obstacle and agility courses including four-level warped wall, double salmon ladder, flywheels, flying squirrel, jumping spider, quintuple steps and many more obstacles for kids, adults and super athletes to try, practice and master. A 1,000-square-foot separate area for the gym’s Lil’ Ninjas program features obstacles custom-built for children under age 6. This includes scaled-down versions of the truss, warped walls, climbing wall, monkey bars, trapeze and rings.
ULTIFIT fitness classes will be offered for adults and incorporate High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) as well as obstacle course training for beginners through OCR competitors.
The new Ultimate Ninjas gym helps satisfy the increased local interest in ninja sports driven by the success of hit television shows and the sport being evaluated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for inclusion into the 2028 Olympics.
