Integrated Facility Services, an HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection and building automation firm, recorded an increase in revenue last year due to plumbing and HVAC contracts in the construction of senior living facilities, according to company General Manager Malcolm Sweet.
The year also brought challenges as the company weathered a second flood at its Fenton headquarters in two years. “We had to abandon the facility, come back and cleanup. This was frustrating because we had just gone through this in 2016,” Sweet said.
Sweet is forecasting another successful year for the company in 2018. “We are focusing on our core competencies; plumbing, pipefitting and HVAC in commercial and educational settings,” he said. “The first three months have been very promising,”
