Godfrey Fire Protection District to break ground on new $7.5 million fire station and administrative building
Thursday, February 16 at 10 a.m.
WHAT:
Godfrey Fire Protection District and Construction manager S. M. Wilson & Co. will host a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on the new $7.5 million fire station and administration building.
The 15,000-square-foot facility will serve as the replacement of the District’s two existing fire stations, which lack adequate space for modern fire and emergency service vehicles and equipment. Relocating Godfrey’s fire services to a single building with all equipment housed in one central location will allow for better and more efficient manpower allocation during emergency response.
