ARAMARK and Kwame Building Group to distribute 300 pairs of shoes to St. Louis children on Martin Luther King Day of Service January 15

Volunteers are working in partnership with Samaritan’s Feet

ARAMARK and Kwame Building Group (KWAME) employee volunteers will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service on January 15 by hosting a Samaritan’s Feet “Shoes of Hope” event for children who attend the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club.

More than 50 employee and community volunteers will engage the children and convey a message of hope and caring as they distribute 300 pairs of new athletic shoes. College students from Washington University and St. Louis University and youth from local churches will join the ARAMARK and KWAME volunteers to help the children wash their feet and fit them with new shoes and socks.

ARAMARK and KWAME have raised funds to support Samaritan’s Feet, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes shoes for needy people in targeted areas throughout the U.S. and internationally. will volunteer time to ensure the event’s success.
