Celebrities raised over $100,000 in “tips” at 22nd Celebrity Waitresses’ & Waiters’ Night

ST. LOUIS, MO A record $100,000 was raised at the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery’s 22nd annual Celebrity Waitresses’ and Waiters’ Night, hosted by Plaza Frontenac. More than 100 celebrities served 1,100 diners garnering generous donations to support the Nursery’s five safe-havens and child abuse prevention services.

“Thanks to our supporters, we have set a new record for the second consecutive year,” said DiAnne Mueller, Crisis Nursery CEO. “It was wonderful to see passionate celebrities and supporters give so generously to ensure that our precious babies and little boys and girls are kept safe.”

Celebrity Waitresses’ & Waiters’ Night included dinner at four Plaza Frontenac restaurants (BRIO Tuscan Grille, Cardwell’s at the Plaza, Canyon Café and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse), live entertainment, a Happy Hour and After Party hosted by BRIO Tuscan Grille, a Celebrity Lounge hosted by Neiman Marcus, an online silent auction, and raffle items including a one-week stay in Cancun, Mexico and diamond earrings courtesy of Vincent Jewelers.

Honorary Corporate Vice-Chair Chip Walker of Wells Fargo received the coveted title of Celebrity Server of the Year, raising more than $10,000 in donations.
