Kwame Foundation mentors 60 High School Students at Male Youth Summit

The Kwame Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization founded by Kim and Anthony (Tony) Thompson of Kwame Building Group, recently mentored 60 male students from Ferguson, Vashon and Carnahan high schools at the recent “Tyrone Thompson Institute for Nonviolence Male Youth Summit.”

Students from the Ferguson-Florissant School District, Vashon High School and Carnahan High School of the Future learned conflict resolution strategies, career tips and the importance of a college education.

Speakers included Tony Thompson; youth motivational speaker Koran Bolden; author Sylvester Chisom; Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson; and former St. Louis Police Chief Dan Isom.
