Spartan Light Metals contracts Air Masters for HVAC and piping at plant expansion

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – Spartan Light Metals has contracted the Columbia, Missouri, office of Air Masters Corporation to install HVAC and process piping systems for their $17 million office and plant expansion in Mexico, Missouri. Other project team members include Mexico Heating and Coil Construction.

The 68,000-square-foot expansion includes a complete renovation of the existing plant offices, a new office addition and a new manufacturing area. Air Masters is installing HVAC in all areas as well as process piping for future process equipment in a new utility tunnel within the new manufacturing area.

Spartan, a family-owned automotive parts supplier, currently employs 300 workers at the plant in Mexico, MO, and expects to add another 88 jobs when the expansion is complete in September 2015.
