TBeats Media “Summer Sound Camp” registration open Six-Week Camp Teaches Real-World Understanding of Recording Studios

ST. LOUIS, MO The TBeats Media “Summer Sound Camp,” a six-week camp that gives youth a real-world experience in a music recording studio, is registering students ages 14 to 17 now through May 15.

Working in a professional music studio, students learn techniques to create a unique musical sound, from music production to instrument selection, sound booth recording to completed tracks.

“Summer Sound Camp” runs June 6 through July 14 at TBeats Studio, 1204 Washington Avenue, Suite 409. Camp sessions are Mondays through Thursdays each week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Camp curriculum includes studio etiquette and terminology, recording equipment, basic recording, audio and midi production, vocal recording, creating sounds from scratch and learning how to use a recording console.

“We show students from start to finish everything that goes into working in a music studio, making beats and completing a song,” said Chris ‘Klevah!’ Shaw, music producer at TBeats Studio.
