BLOOMINGTON, IL – Upper Limits is renovating and updating their Bloomington, IL climbing gym to enhance the climbing and customer experience. Built in a grain silo, Upper Limits Bloomington features indoor climbing space as well as an outdoor boulder. The gym’s renovations include repaving the main parking lot, repainting their main climbing room and adding a new waiver station. In addition, two new routes will be added to the 110-foot outdoor wall by the end of June. The gym also will be adding signs throughout the gym to help new climbers become comfortable with the gym and the sport of climbing.
“Trying something new for the first time can be intimidating,” said Steven Frederick, marketing manager at Upper Limits – Bloomington. “One of our missions this year is to try our very best to acclimate new climbers to this amazing and rewarding sport! To help with that, we are retraining our staff as well as adding more signage around our gyms to acclimate new climbers. Here at Upper Limits, we want to encourage you to set goals, break barriers and to live your best life.”
Local contractors involved in the renovation were Mclean County Asphalt Inc. and Aub’s Painting.
