BLOOMINGTON, IL — Competitive youth climber, AJ Mollenhauer, age 13, a member of Upper Limits Bloomington’s “Team ULI” will compete in the USA Climbing (USAC) Great Lakes Regional Sport and Speed Competition on May 18 in Madison Heights, MI. Mollenhauer placed fourth in his age group at 2019 local Sport & Speed competitions in Bloomington, IN and Indianapolis, IN, which qualified him for this regional event.
Team ULI is Upper Limits’ competitive youth climbing team for kids ages seven to 18. The team practices at Upper Limits two times per week and represents Upper Limits at climbing competitions throughout the Midwest. Other Team ULI competitors that placed in local competitions are Emma Warner, age 13; Josh Kratz, age 16; and Tyler Herren, age 14.
