Buildings are rising at the Shoppes at Mid Rivers, a $54 million, 28-acre retail center on the north side of Interstate 70 in St. Peters.

The project by GBT Realty Corp. of Brentwood, Tenn., is scheduled for completion this fall. Knoebel Construction of Chesterfield is the builder. The designer is MJM Architects of Nashville.

Tenants will include Academy Sports + Outdoors, Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, HomeGoods, ULTA Beauty, Five Below and Famous Footwear, Knoebel said Tuesday.

GBT bought the property on Mid Rivers Mall Drive last fall.
