Two trolleys from Seattle spotted in St. Louis for Loop line

Two trolleys destined to be part of the Loop trolley system are in St. Louis. Bommarito Automotive SkyFox helicopter was over the rail yard where they’re being stored.

The trolleys once ran on the George Benson waterfront streetcar line in Seattle. They were built between 1923 and 1956 in Australia.

Eventually these trolleys will be put on display at the Loop trolley maintenance and storage facility on Delmar.

A third streetcar from Seattle and two replica streetcars from Portland are being refurbished in Iowa. Those trolleys will be put into service on the Loop trolley tracks next spring.
